Hidroespaco is a nice opportunity of diving in the coast of Faro. You can see many exciting things hiding under water like shipwrecks, artificial and natural reefs, ancient archaeological sites.

3. Visit Faro Municipal Museum!

Faro Municipal Museum is located in Vila-Adentro. It is one of the best examples of early Renaissance architecture in the Algarve built in 16 th century.
The museum has permanent exhibits including artifacts from prehistoric Portugal to neoclassical times like pottery, paintings and a large 3rd century Roman mosaic showing Oceanus (the god of the sea, which was discovered near Faro Railway Station).
From the upper floor you can view beautiful garden and see mysterious gargoyles on the roof.

5. Chapel of Bones – Made of Real Human Skeletons!

It is a place you have never visited before, extraordinary and spooky. The inscription over the door says: “Stop here and think of the fate that will befall you – 1816,” wrote by monks.
This is not all…The main attraction is a gold skeleton in full size that hangs at the front of the chapel.
