Preventing Varicose Veins – Stop Those Spider Webs On Your Legs

I’m sure that no one wants to have varicose veins. One, it’s not something good to look at. You won’t be able to wear that mini – skirt! Plus, it is undeniably painful. It’s one of women’s nightmares. Of course, I’m not saying that you can totally eliminate your varicose veins. But what I’m going to share with you might help. Do this regularly and you’d see that it will be lessen and prevented.
Why don’t you exercise? If you are a self – confessed couch potato, it’s about time that you change your act. You might want to include walking and jogging in your daily routine. It will improve the blood circulation in your legs. Plus, by exercising you will be able to maintain a proper weight. Just so you know, people who are overweight are more prone to having varicose veins. That’s because they are putting more pressure on their legs. If you want to avoid those annoying veins, you might want to start living healthy.
Say goodbye to your cigarettes. We are aware that smoking is the culprit for many diseases. And I want to also add that it is a contributor for having varicose veins. Now, you might want to throw your last sticks. Smoking is never good to begin with, so don’t ever think about starting that habit.
Sit down when possible. If you will notice, people who have jobs that require them to stand have more varicose veins. If you are one of them, I suggest that you try to change your position every once in a while. Or, you can try walking. That will decrease the chances of having veins on your legs.  
Rest your feet. If you are about to sleep, I would recommend that you elevate your legs. You can use your pillows or there are inversion tables available for that specific need. Or if you want, you can just use your walls for supporting your legs.
Change your wardrobe. You might want to check your wardrobe. Do you have a lot of high heeled shoes? Do you happen to have a lot of tight fitting jeans? Well, it’s about time that you dispose some of those in exchange for more comfortable outfits.
