3. Use Vodka.

4. Use window cleaner.

They may be stored in your glove compartment. They will help you clean your windows and window shield by rubbing.
6. Alternative to windshield washing fluid.
Feminine hygiene maxi-pads could do the job pretty well. Just hold the pad on the sticky side and rub your windshield vigorously. It will shine once you have done the wiping well.
7. Cleaning your blades.
Make a solution of 1 quart cold water to a 1/4 cup of household ammonia. Lift the blades and wipe them with a soft cloth dipped in this solution. Dry the cloth using a dry towel and replace the blades.

The same solution that you have used to clean your blades will also clean your windows and windshield. Store it in a bottle and use it whenever the need arises.
9. Using baking-soda cleaner.
Pour 1/4 cup of dishwashing liquid and 1/4 cup of baking soda in to a jug that is gallon-sized. Add water and shake well. The concentrate can now be used for wheel wash which is something most people forget.
10. Removing back-road dirt.
Sprinkle some tartar on the windshield and then remove with soapy water. Rinse and wipe dry and it will be clean.
11. How to Avoid Waxing.
Add a cup of kerosene to 3 gallons of water while cleaning your car. You will not need to spray the car or apply wax. It will repel water.
12. Watching The Heat.
Do not wash the car when it is too hot such as after driving as it may result in deposits or soapy splotches.
13. Avoid air drying.
Do not drive around in your car when it is wet. Dry it using a dry cloth to avoid leaving unsightly marks on the exterior.
