Touring Minnesota: Top Attractions in the North Star State

Mall of America

No list of things to do in Minnesota would be complete without the Mall of America—the most visited site in the whole state. And, quite a mall it is, boasting 520 stores. And, it surely isn’t just for shopping either. It also has 50 restaurants, Legoland, Sealife Aquarium, and Nickolodeon Universe, the biggest indoor theme park. Here you can also fine Water Park of America, one of the best waterparks in the United States.

The Mall of America is located in Bloomington, a mere 15 minutes from the downtown area of Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Como Park Zoo and Conservatory

Anything with animals is usually a good bet for kids and adults alike, and the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory has plenty on offer. It is home to a large variety of animals, such as tigers, polar bears, giraffes, elephants, monkeys, exotic fish and all sorts of interesting insects. It also runs interesting programs and activities that teach you all about these wonderful creatures and conservation efforts.
