How To Capitalize on Video Marketing

The Instagram photo and vidoe sharing app is seen on various devices on 10 May, 2017. The Facebook owned company recently announced that users can also upload photos via the mobile website withouth using the app. Instagram hopes with this new possibility it will appeal to more users. I have a client who is a Victoria chiropractor who asked me what thing he can be doing to attract more new clients to his website. I said he needs to capitalize on video and content marketing.

There are many people consuming video online. They’re visiting websites like YouTube and Vimeo not only for entertainment purposes, but also educational purposes. That’s why many people are using video to market their businesses. There are a few ways to do so and I want to discuss those right now.

#1 Show Them Behind the Scenes

Give them an inside look at your business. Anything from day to day operations to fun stuff your staff does to keep loose.

Another option is to show them how you make your products or what it’s like to experience your service. Creating a video like this will help creating more engagement when it’s posted on your social networks.

#2 Show Them Your Business Location

If you are running a brick and mortar business, get a professional video editor and have them shoot your store. This works great for restaurants, retail stores, coffee shops or clinics.

Showing people your business through a video will help give the potential client and idea of what your store looks like it. They want to know what it’s like to experience and be in your store. Bonus points if you can create the perfect mood through music and having people in your store who are your target marketing.

#3 Answer People’s Questions

I always get my clients to write down any questions a current or potential client asks them. Why? Because if they are asking them, chances are good, people are asking those questions to Google.

By creating videos that answer peoples questions, you’ll be able to own the search rankings for those questions. Make sure the title of the video is the question.

So if I am looking for an answer to my question “how to properly stretch my lower back”, a chiropractor Victoria BC should create a video answer that question with some stretches and make the title that very question. Be sure to put some info about yourself in the video description along with a link back to your site.

If I land on that video, it’s going to be easier for me to click through to that chiropractors website now that he has answered my question with some tips and that he’s listed his website. You can even offer discounts for people who mention that video or your videos to better track your efforts.

My personal favorite is the last one as it’s an easy way to get your business in front of targeted clients. I hope it works for you and you’re able to capitalize on video marketing.
