Earning a bachelor’s degree can grant several career opportunities for those who earn them. That being said it isn’t always easy to figure out what degree is right for you.  Some degrees offer very specific career paths such as electrical engineering while others have a wide open range of jobs available. The business world is filled with all sorts of management opportunities. You can focus one specific aspect or you can focus on something broader. Business management degrees can be earned at the associate, bachelor’s and master’s level. Of course, the higher you go the more earning potential you have. General Management
The most obvious job choice on this list is general management. This position requires a broad knowledge base of many different business aspects that range from finance to human resources to advertising. Various job descriptions could be office manager, operations manager, business management consultant, director of operations and business development manager. Simply put every business from retail to accounting and factories to hotels and corporations need business managers.
Human Resources and Marketing
Many majors opt to specialize in employee management and communications. A human resource manager works and specializes in screening and interviewing potential new employees. You would also be in charge of training them and getting them set up with insurance, company conduct policies and overall work environment. Potential marketing jobs include market manager, market research manager or brand manager.
Financial Industries
Banking is another industry that makes use of business management.  Possibilities include jobs such as a banking branch manager, personal banker, financial analyst or operations manager.  It isn’t just banks though. Other financial institutes include financial planning companies, investment firms and even real estate companies. Jobs in these fields may have titles such as financial controller, financial analyst or collections supervisor.
Miscellaneous
There many other management type jobs that don’t fit into the traditional roles above. Some include positions like a supply chain manager, warehouse and distribution manager, convention or event planning, purchasing manager or education administrator. Hospitals can also make good use of these degrees.
