Fees and contracts are dependent on the level of care needed and are therefore tailor-made for each individual.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">These offer assisted living for people who have Alzheimer&#8217;s disease or any other form of memory loss. Such facilities can be incorporated in CCRCs or may be stand-alone facilities. These facilities provide medical care, basic custodial care and meal services. Cost ranges are similar to those of assisted living communities.</p>

Nursing home costs are dependent on the services needed but are higher than those in assisted living and independent living communities.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Hospice care is available for terminally ill seniors in the final phase of their illness, with a life expectancy period of 6 months or less. Costs are dependent on the services needed. In-home hospice services are however cheaper than in nursing homes and hospitals.</p>
