<p>When visiting New York City, you want to make sure you have plenty of time to discover all the different attractions it has to offer. Though it is small in size, the city is filled with places and events that anyone can enjoy. Many are geared for the tourists, but so many locals attend the same events as they truly are historical gems.<br />
One of the most visited New York attractions is the 9/11 Memorial. This is a great place to observe the memory of all the people who died as a result of the terrorist attack on the September 11, 2001. The tickets can easily be ordered online or purchased at the 9/11 viewing building. Entry into the memorial is free. They do ask for a donation, but if you give a donation of $10 or more, you will receive a souvenir wrist band. Once inside the memorial, there are two large fountains signifying where the two towers once stood. The names are inscribed on the fountains of everyone who died. There is also a survivor tree for the ones who were at the site but managed to get out of the towers in time. There is currently a museum being built but has not been completed.<br />

Little Italy is another place one must pass through when exploring New York City. The rows of Italian restaurants pressure you to go in and dig in a big bowl of pasta. You can choose to sit inside or outside as many of the restaurants have outdoor seating lined up on the side of the road. If the pasta does not fill you up, there are cannolis being sold everywhere. These cannolis are not like anything one can buy at a typical grocery store. Instead they contain a lavish cream that you can choose among many flavors that are offered.<br />

Times Square is probably one of the most infamous attractions to visit in New York City. Besides the huge billboards advertising the most popular brands, the streets are always filled with both locals and tourists. Anytime of the day, you can go to Times Square and be among thousands of others. There are hundreds of restaurants and stores making it easy to spend a good bit of money. There are also several popular cartoon characters along the streets waiting to take pictures with tourists. Let us not forget the Naked Cowboy who tends to make his appearance quite often.<br />
Some of the best fields and arenas are located in and around the city. Madison Square Garden, the Giants Stadium, and even the Yankee’s Field are all popular places for tourists to travel to in hopes to catch a game. Seeing their favorite player in person is an experience unlike any other as they root for their team.<br />
New York is one of the most visited places in the United States. What Disney World is to kids, New York City is definitely a playground for adults. The lights, fast pace life, and super tall buildings give many inspiration to follow their dreams.</p>
