Here are some of the additional types of child custody. First, physical custody refers to the general day-to-day care of a child and where the child lives. Then, joint physical custody refers to which the child lives with his both parents. This means that the child has two homes and shares his time between the two parents. And the other is joint custody. Parenting is shared, thus both parents share the responsibility of day-today decisions.<br />
